This is the official application homepage for Midnight Case Files — a small, independently run channel that publishes short-form true crime and mystery stories, narrated, illustrated, and posted automatically to TikTok on a fixed twice-daily schedule.

About the application "Midnight Case Files"

"Midnight Case Files" is the name of both this website and the TikTok application it belongs to. The application's sole purpose is to let its single operator publish pre-produced video stories to their own TikTok account automatically, on a twice-daily schedule, without needing to manually sign in and upload each video by hand.

Each story is scripted with the help of an AI language model, illustrated with AI-generated imagery, and narrated by an AI voice. The operator writes the topic list, reviews the output pipeline, and maintains the account — there is no editorial team, no third-party contributor access, and no other user of this application besides its operator.

How publishing works

This application uses TikTok's Login Kit to authenticate the operator's own account, and the Content Posting API (video.upload scope) to upload finished videos directly to that same account. The API is used solely to publish this account's own content; it is not used to access, read, or act on any other person's TikTok account or data, and no other person can authorize or use this application against their own account.
